Non Rebreather O2 Mask
- A Non-rebreather O2 mask is designed to cover the mouth and nose and is connected directly to an oxygen tank.
- The device has a valve that only opens one way and a reservoir bag that stores oxygen. The machine stops patients from inhaling air exhaled through their lungs after exhaling.
- The mask delivers high levels of oxygen, up to 95 per cent.
- This device can treat the symptoms of respiratory distress, hypoxemia and respiratory failure.
- The adjustments may be adjusted to the rate of flow and the size of the reservoir bag according to the oxygen saturation of each patient and the rate of breathing.
Applications of non-rebreather O2 masks
