It is a five-layer foam sacral dressing is proven to help prevent pressure ulcers when used in conjunction with other standard prevention protocols. The design also creates a good healing environment for managing moderate- to high-exuding wounds of the sacral area. It effectively absorbs and retains exudate and maintains a moist wound environment.
The design includes Safetac – the original less-pain contact layer with silicone adhesion. So, the dressing moulds softly to skin without sticking to the moist wound– you can remove it easily without damaging the skin. That means less pain for your patients

Border Sacrum is designed for many exuding wounds , including pressure injuries, foot and leg ulcers, as well as traumatic injuries like cuts and wounds from surgery.

Warnings and Precautions

Avoid using Border Sacrum together with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solution and hydrogen peroxide. Border Sacrum should be stored in dry, cool conditions at a temperature of 95degF (35degC).
